What is kitesurfing?
Kitesurfing is a surface water sport that combines aspects of wakeboarding, surfing, paragliding and gymnastics, all into one extreme sport.
A kitesurfer of kiteboarder harnesses the power of the wind with a large controllable power kite to be propelled across the water.
The kite itself is comprised of a skeleton of tubes that give it its structure, and at the same time keeps it buoyant on the water.
